Hey guys, I'm going to be participating in a 12 team H2H draft tonight, and I was thinking of drafting Galchenyuk as my 3 or 4 C in the second last or last round. What do you guys think, is it possible he'll have a big year or will he struggle behind Pacioretty and it's worth picking up someone else instead for the year? If so, any suggestions for Cs that might have pretty good years around the last-third last pick range?
Thank you!

travis zajac is a good one
anyone predicting ryan johansen to make a name for himself? how about Hanzal? if your league permits it or McDonald from STL, when he's healthy, he'll produce. with LW bonus! Hodgson could make a splash Last edited by kluu; 09-29-2012 at 04:30 PM. |

Yeah, I don't think Galchenyuk will do anything for you in a one year league. It's hard to guess who might be available to you late in the draft because we have no idea how many players are being drafted.
Guys like Peverley, Legwand, Saku Koivu, Ott, Cervenka, Backlund, Jussi Jokinen, Bolland, Dubinsky, Anisimov etc might pan out for you.

In a 12 team league, even if Gal makes the team there are probably tons of better options that are more proven and carry less risk.

Some guys I like include Brandon Dubinsky, Ryan O'Reilly, Mike Cammalleri, Mikko Koivu, Derek Stepan, Mike Fisher, Mikhail Grabovski, Sam Gagner and Derek Roy.
Depending on your format, Ryan Kesler may be buried in the rankings due to his injury. I'd jump on him if you can get him past round ten or so.
