We need more context please! What is the scoring system/roster settings etc?

10 teams keep 12 - full CAT league

Boyle = Enstrom for next year Boyle is 36 years old, Enstrom is only 27 years old and he already hit 2 times the 50 pts and 2 years ago he put 51 pts in 72gp. So I will take easy Enstrom for a keeper...

I will add in a keep 12 in a 10 teams league I will take Enstrom easy here because he is a keeper in your league and I don't think I will keep Boyle...

With full categories I would easily keep Boyle. Yes Enstrom is consistlenty a 50-point threat and he's still quite young but Boyle fills out all the peripherals way better and can do so for the foreseeable future.

If this was points only I'd take Enstrom by a fair margin. With all the extra categories Boyle has enough short term value to make him worth while even if he is much older.

Then throw in the fact that this is a limited keeper and you marginalize any long term value lost in keeping an older player. It's true that you may only get 2-3 more good years out of Boyle but you may only need him to be a keeper for that time period. Afterwards, it will be much easier to replace him than in a full keeper league because of the large amount of turnover from year to year.

Simply put, in a limited keeper you really only want to factor age into decisions where it is the only determining factor, otherwise you keep the best players and in this case it's Boyle and no it isn't close.

Goalies: If I'm pickin em you best be sittin em!

What exactly is a full-cat league? For some people that means like G A +/- PIM PPP. For some people you take the above and add Hits, BS, SOG, SHP, TOI, etc. etc.

Makes a big difference.

I would go with Enstrom......
