Nobody has made massive strides since being drafted. That was ~ 2 months ago.

I really don't put much stock into how he or any other player played in a summer exhibition tournament. That isn't "making massive strides". C'mon, that's just hyperbole. Hudon has always played well internationally, that was no different.

He would still be drafted that late if the draft were held today. I don't see him ever being an NHL player. If you are small and you can't skate well, you have virtually no hope. See: Locke, Corey.

So let it be a hyperbole and move on.

Anyone in there that really pops out at you?
I used a late pick on Calle Andersson, I like what I've read about him. Ville Pokka is another euro-defender who seems to be overlooked in most drafts. I think Bozon is good value for where he was drafted. Frk would be a good pick if he falls to you as well. And agreed with your long shots - if any of them are there, they would be good choices.

For arguments sake I will consider 3rd round-7th round as late, not that 3rd round is late but thats my measuring stick.

Tim Bozon 3rd round 64th overall
Scott Kosmachuk 3rd round 70th overall
Jone Gillies 3rd round 75th overall
Jarrod Maidens 3rd round 82nd overall
Matt Murray 3rd round 83rd overall
Brady Vail 4th round 94th overall
Gemel Smith 4th round 104th overall
Charles Hudon 5th round 122nd overall
Joey LaLeggia 5th round 123rd overall
Jesse Graham 6th round 155th overall
Tomas Hyka 6th round 171st overall
Anton Zlobin 6th round 173rd overall
Gianluca Curcuruto 7th round 182nd overall
Nikita Gusev 7th round 202nd overall
Justin Hache 7th round 208th overall
Nick Ebert 7th round 211th overall

Also I would rank
Anton Slepyshev very high, went undrafted due to the "Russian Factor" but the kid can seriously play

I would have taken a guess with Bluegar.

I actually traded up to grab him in my league, 39th. TI traded away my 52nd and 56th for his 39th and 68th to make the pick.

I think he is a great darkhorse to own.

Especially since, in hindsight, I don't think I did that well with your 52nd and 56th picks... (Adam Pelech and MacKenzie MacEachern respectively)

sigh... well, at least I managed to draft Frk at 42...
