2-On D please rank:

Vatanen
Blum
Brodin
Erixon
Barberio
Reinhart

Thanks Jeff!
I'd take Tofolli and then Faksa.

Brodin will be the best but not sure about the offense.

Offensively:

1 Vatanen
2 Erixon
3 Reinhart
4 Barberio

Conacher might do it, but he is pretty hyped at this point. Killorn? He is about the right age, and is coming out of the NCAA, where good prospects are often overlooked, but is he likely to make an impact this year? Any other guys you can think of?
JT Brown on Tampa Bay is one, for sure

Alex Chiasson on Dallas is another

I have an offer right now which looks like:
(me getting) 1st overall pick (Yakupov) + 4th overall pick (most likely another forward) + Shattenkirk
(me giving) Eberle + Pietrangelo + 6th overall pick

Keeper league (30 keepers), points only, weekly lineup of 12 forwards (any position), 6 defensemen and 2 goalies (2*wins + 2*shutouts + 1*OTL).

I finished next to last this previous season, and the other guy finished last. I have a young team (Giroux, Eberle, Skinner, Seguin, Karlsson, Pietrangelo, etc).

I have a hard time letting go of those 2 guys mainly because of what they already accomplished (76 points for Eberle, 50+ for Pietrangelo). I know the difference of points between Shattenkirk and AP is not that big (less than 10 last season), still...

Thoughts?

Thanks!
Way way way too much. I'd move Eberle and a decent prospect, but AP is one of the next great defensemen.

Granlund - he's closer to NHL action. It is a close comparison, though. Both are great prospects.

If you had to pick one goalie between Bryzgalov, and Mike Smith in a keeper who would it be? (for wins and shutouts only)

Thanks again!
Bryzgalov - more proven, better long term situation

I'd look to trade Crawford if you can. I'd move him for Couture or Voracek - that would be a great deal.

(1) Would you trade JVR/Halak for OEL/Dubnyk? Which side would win that one.

(2) Which are the bottom few guys on my team (in terms of guys I should consider trading / combining to upgrade etc) in your view?

Thanks
I'd keep JVR/Halak. More proven in goal, and I'm not sure OEL's production will reflect his overall abilities (for now, at least, if Yandle is moved that may change).

I'd think about moving Okposo - not sure he has the hockey sense to become what many were expecting him to.

Hey Angus, thanks for doing this!

I'm trying to upgrade my keepers, in a 10 team, points only league, keep 7. I have 3 trade scenarios that I have proposed to other GM's and I'm wondering what you think would be best for my team, this year and moving forward

Current Keepers

Backstrom
D. Sedin
H. Sedin
Kovalchuk
Parise/St. Louis (one of)
E. Karlsson
Price

I'm looking to use my assets to get my hands on Crosby or Ovie. If I were to get one, here is how it would play out.

Scenario #1

I trade: D. Sedin, Parise and Kesler
I get: Crosby + 2 throw-ins

Keeper forwards would be:

Backstrom
Crosby
H. Sedin
Kovalchuk
St. Louis

Scenario #2

I trade: D. Sedin, Parise and Kesler
I get: OV + 2 throw-ins

Keepers forwards would be:

Backstrom
OV
H. Sedin
Kovalchuk
St. Louis

Scenario #3 - if Crosby owner wants more (he needs a goalie)

I trade: St. Louis for Miller
Then I trade: D. Sedin, Parise and Miller
I get: Crosby + 2 throw ins

Keepers forwards would be:

Backstrom
Crosby
H. Sedin
Kovalchuk
Kesler

What do you think is best for my team? Should I try to make one of these trades or stand pat with what I have. My team "as-is" is likely the best group of keepers in the league, but I can't resist going after Crosby or OV as their owners have weak teams and need to make big moves.

Thanks!
