Yeah you've really gotta try and get something better than a defenseman who has never lived up to the expectations yet and is buried behind two guys and also is starting the season on the shelf.

Need a little trade advice, offer is my Perry for his Bogosian.

League details limited keeper (team in sign), each player can be protected for max 4 years (years remaining Perry - 1, Bogosian 3). Also drafting players is by bidding/auction. Perry's price tag is very high and I would not protect him for this years draft. On the flip side Bogosian's contract is relatively cheap. I won the league last season so I'm in a bit of rebuild.

My concerns are:
#1 - Bogosians wrist injury (CBA may allow him to be back if he heals and the season is delayed)
#2 - Enstrom and Buff ahead of him on the roster and signed to long term deals

Any thoughts???

You are probably doing the right thing in trying to move Perry, but you have to do better than Bogosian.

I agree with all of the above. Bogosian is gonna be out 3-6 months too, so definitely won't help you here. Play the field, let people know you're willing to deal him and depending on their knowledge of the sport, wait for the offers to roll in.

Definitely agreed with the above advice. Players of Perry's calibre are rarely available, and even if he's only got 1 year at a high cap hit left on his contract in your league, you should still be able to play the field and get more in return than Bogo.

Shop him around to other contenders, and let each of them know you're fielding other offers and have one on the table already, and see who bites with the best return.... then see if you can pull a bit more.
