I will be the first to admit I was very, VERY wrong about Romero. He's the worst. Where's Livan Hernandez? Would rather start him.

Ouch Axeman...I bet the great start he had last week was the worst thing that could have happened because it got your hopes up lol.
I'm hoping Romero can get his head on straight for next year. |

For those who still own him, I just read that he will be benched for his upcoming start in the hopes the extra rest will allow him to get his head together and get in some practice. That, and also it helps Jays get a starter in there who gives them a chance to win.
Poor RickyRo

There's still hope, but he needs to realize that his changeup is an automatic ball.
His command has been awful, but we've seen him be a stud in the majors and I don't think its unheard of to expect a 3.75-4 ERA going forward from him. He never was an ace IMO, people are just beginning to realize that now. Morrow is their ace now.

WAY TOO LATE to sit him now! Whats the point? The Jays wanted him to pitch through his struggles before, what changed their minds? This coming after he only gave up one run in his last start. Doesnt make sense.
