Bautista (wrist) continues to progress quicker than expected and he could resume hitting from a tee by the end of the week, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Very, very bad news. "Bautista may return this season" is the newest headline. If we're lucky, he'll be back in 2-3 weeks.

I think considering how the Jays aren't REALLY contending anymore and how valuable he is to the team long-term, that he's probably done for the season. He's still experiencing pain in his wrist.

I just read that he's now waiting to see a doctor who specializes in hand injuries, bad news indeed friends. This likely kills me for the year...
