Ap and Nelson for sure? Personally I like Bradshaw a lot this year. I know he has a history of injuries but he's the clearcut number 1 on a good offensive team. For the 4th I would take Lloyd. He will have a great opportunity to put up some numbers

Does the Keeping of any of these players affect your draft picks/order in any way?

Plus, on top of that Lloyd has had major injuries himself the past few years. His upside is really good, but if I had to choose between aging Lloyd in a crowded field or DeSean who even in a down year last year produced almost 1000 yards and I'd bet Jackson the better bet to go 1100+ yards and 7+ TD's. Really the difference between Jackson and Lloyd may be as little as 50 yards and 1 TD, they aren't far off in what they can do - so age 25 vs. age 31 with injury history...

Let me put it another way...

DeSean has 4096 career receiving yards + 378 career rushing yards for a total rushing/receiving of 4,474 yards.

Lloyd has 4,784 career receiving yards + 1 career rushing yard for a total of 4,785 yards. That's a clearcut 311 more than Jackson.

The difference is DeSean has put up his yardage in 4 years (60 career games) and Lloyd has 9 years (110 games). I know the Lloyd and McDaniels connection (Lloyd's career year) but it looks a little flukey to me and not something I'd bank on. At the right price, I'd love to have Lloyd, but I think DeSean is the safer bet to go career year.

That's just my .02 - both are quality starters this year for sure.
Thanks Dyv for the breakdown! I didn't factor in age before, thanks for pointing that out for me. Is 31 considered "old" for a WR? Thanks again for the analysis.

Lloyd should have a solid year as well. From a keeper perspective, i'm looking at age as well as his role in the team. At best, Lloyd is #2 receiver. He's likely 3, behind Gronk and Welker. Lastly, I wouldn't keepa WR over Brown. That position is simply too deep. You can find another wide real easy. Good luck.
I agree. If he has a strong year it will get changed where he gets picked next year, but I think for this year I believe he'll be of great value to draft as most of the Colts in general are being had at great bargains it appears from their current ADP's. Thanks again for the analysis.

I'd keep Lloyd in that spot, those keepers are looking good!
Haha. Thanks dm. I'm taking over this team from a previous manager who left this pool. This pool is going into year 3 and this guy has never made the playoffs so hopefully I can right the ship.

Thanks! I'm very optimisitc about Lloyd this year too. Bradshaw on the other hand scares the cr*p outta me. His backup has looked really good in preseason too so I'm not sure how to read that situation right now.

Nope, no restrictions on that. I can keep any of these guys at no cost. Which ones would you go with?

How many WR/RB do you start each week?

If you let bradshaw back into the draft, will you get a RB comparable to his stats. Say top 15?

For me, the choice of the 3rd/4th would be on what you can get in your draft. Say a 10 team league - 40 keeps, i'm betting all the RB are held closely.

I would most likely go AP (get TG as backup), Bradshaw, Nelson, lloyd then jackson.
