Default Felix Hernandez throws perfect game

In Seattle against the Tampa Bay Rays.

23rd perfect game in baseball history.

He was outstanding!

I love seeing these stud guys throw no-hitters and perfect games...but in the past few seasons we've been seen randos like Dallas Braden and Phil Humber throw perfect games. It's personally annoying to me to see those randos who can't even pitch consistently enough to last a full season get it whereas other studs don't.

What is it with Tampa Bay btw? Didn't they get no-hit twice last season or something? One of them a perfect game I think? (Braden's?)

Yeah, I think its just a really odd coincidence.

1. Mark Buehrle perfect game
2. Dallas Braden perfect game
3. Felix Hernandez perfect game

All against the Rays...ouch.

It seems it is not as hard to throw a perfect these days. This is the 3rd one already this year and its bringing down amazement level of throwing one.

I love that Hernandez threw a perfect game, the best pitchers deserve a chance and he is one of the best in the game.
