Limited keeper (7 players) but we have a rule that we can in addition to these 7 protect players under 23 who have never started in our lineup. I have these 5 on my bench, but realistically can only keep 2-3 because I need some bench space. Do you see any of these 5 breaking out in the next 2 years? The chance of any being an 80 pt + guy in 2 or 3 years? Projecting mainly for points and power play #s.
At this point I like Strome (Tavares fit) but other than that I think I would be okay at letting any of the others go. Also, may Strome take 3-4 years to get to 60 points +? Right now my ranking would be: Strome Johansen (but don't like lack of support) Schwartz (too much depth on StL) Burmistrov (inconsistent?) Paajarvi (too much depth on Edm) I've read what Dobber says, just want other opinions. Thanks. |

I would rank them the exact same way.
Strome Johansen Schwartz These 3 are on a different level than the other two. They still have that feel of having the potential to be VERY elite.

If you're looking for upside then I'd keep the same three as hockeyrobot.
Something to consider, is that there have been rumblings that Burmistrov might be tempted to go to the KHL after his current contract ends. Again, it's just speculation, but until he signs an extension... As for Paajarvi he should be an easy redraft at this point...seems like a lot of people have lost confidence in him. |

Only Strome and Johansen. Schwartz is a good two-way guy, a great two-way guy. Real NHL he's gonna be fantastic. But he probably never breaks 70 points, and in fantasy I don't consider that very elite.

Without a doubt I'd take Johansen, Schwartz and Strome.
