Kendrys Morales

Is this guy a 12-team drop? I know he hits in a good spot in LAA (4-5th) but usually does not play against Lefties and even though he is in Tex next week, he faces 3 Lefties. In addition, Vernon Wells is close to returning and will cut into his time. No one will take him trade wise.

His stats. .272 9-39-31-0.
for the short term, I can slide Berkamn to CI and maybe grab C.Gomez or Ruggiano until stanton or Pablo return.
His Avg. should be 30 pts higher and he has absolutely no speed for runs.
He's a safe play, but mediocore at best.

Drop him or keep him.

I'd tend to drop him right now. Though he hits in a great line up, he has shown no power in quite a while. I'm wondering if his ankle is bothering him again...

I'd probably drop him as well and maybe go for a long shot sleeper (Ruggiano, Marte, etc).

Dude *just barely* snuck two homers over the right field fence in Arlington. It was not so much power on his part, the insane jetstream in the park should get more credit. Don't be confused, his power is still MIA.

Sure enough, Morales explodes after I drop him and Berkman continues to suck.

What is the deal with Berkman? I know he by passed the re-hab assignment, but should he not have his timing back by now? Guy often sits and when he does play, he sucks. Killing me. I don't want to drop him and then have him do what Morales did, so I guess I will sit him and grab a bat, but still waiting for anything close to last year's numbers.

Berkman's knee is screwed. BTW, don't be sold on Kendrys just yet... he's in a stacked line up and he's only hitting homers in a park that's ideal for him (The Park in Arlington). Until he hits bombs elsewhere, I don't buy it.

I ironically picked him up last week. He's been hitting better, but the ankle is still a concern to me.
