White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper told MLB.com Saturday that the team has no plans to shut down or limit pitcher Jose Quintana's innings. Quintana has already logged 139 2/3 innings with the White Sox and Double-A Birmingham, which is way more than his career high of 102 he logged in the minors last season. "If we need to skip a start, if we need to back them off a day, give them an extra day, we may do that," Cooper added. "If we think we need to do something, we are going to do that. Right now, there's no thought of it."

I think they're simply giving him extra time, and that makes sense but still may hurt fantasy owners.
