In one of my H2H leagues (of 12 teams), somebody dropped Cory Perry to pick up Troy Brouwer today.

I have also seen: Elias, Eriksson, Kessel, Webber, Hartnell dropped. (in 12-16 team leagues, mostly H2H multicat)

Some people have twitchy fingers.

I've seen Mike Smith and Markov dropped.

Given the shortened season and importance of each game, I don't think it's necessarily such a bad thing in one-year leagues to have itchy trigger fingers this year.

I agree. And I have had to make a few adjustments due to scheduling conflicts that I wouldn't have normally done in a non-compressed season. In my yahoo league I have had several days a week where I have to pick one or two players I can't start due to lack of starting positions available.

I must be in some pretty good leagues because I wouldn't say I've seen anything really high quality dropped.

In the RHRS roto-league (14-teams) I was surprised teams let Matt Read and Jakub Voracek go. I used waiver claims to nab both.

I'll say this... seeing Tim Thomas added in a one-year pool was by far the worst ADD I've seen this year. Hilarious. Team dropped him a few days later.

Yeah this happened in one of my leagues just minutes after he was dealt to the Islanders. Funny. I saw through that from the very beginning. The Isles were not going to offer a conditional 2nd if they had doubts about Thomas' status.

I'm the one who dropped Matt Read in the RHRS - after picking him up as a Free Agent (so everyone else didn't think that much of him before I picked him up for free.)

In a roto league that counts Hits, PIM and Blocks among the usual cats - My RWers are Seguin, Semin, Yakupov and Kassian. I bet that there wouldn't be too many that would prefer Matt Read before the others.

Someone dropped Backstrom in a league of mine so that was an easy pickup for me.

Before the Bruins run to the Cup, someone dropped Thomas in the offseason in a keep 15......wow did he regret that.
