Ryan Malone.
He's the perfect fit, he's big & gritty and he's played this role with Crosby.

Purcell is a light-weight.
I don't see him as a fit, this line needs more grit to work best.

I believe Tampa has already stated that Malone will be lining up there, as Pengwin7 sayed. He's a solid starter in a league that counts extended stats, if he stays healthy.

Yeah I agree with this, though Malone never play a full season so we'll see how long he lasts this year. I think it makes the most sense for them too, St. Louis has the heart of a lion to be sure but he's not going to outmuscle many defenders...Malone is 6'4 225...they'll have him doing the muck work in the corners and kicking the puck out to the skill guys.

Not all bad for Purcell though, he won't have to face the top defenders and I think he really took a big step forward last year, he should be able to build off it
