Choose the DobberHockey Banner!

Tired of looking at Crosby, Getzlaf and Luongo? Well, here's your chance at replacing them with some fresh faces. Over the next month, there will be a few polls that will determine the "call ups".

Scheduled Poll Breakdown :

Wednesday May 18th-25th : Poll Session One, Defenseman
Wednesday May 25th-1st : Poll Session Two, Goalie
Wednesday June 1st-8th : Poll Session Three, Forward
Wednesday June 8th-15th : Poll Session Four, Wild Card - all positions accepted.

Entry period for Each Poll will be the first two given days, meaning every following Wednesday and Thursday.

Polls will occur every Friday through Tuesday with the winner being announced on the Wednesday along with the new poll session.

Entries will be placed in Bracket Style, much like the "Name the Black Aces" contest, but Divisions will be formed in a first come first serve basis.

Guidelines :

Submissions can only include one of each position and must all be from a different team.

All submissions must be sent to myself via Private Message on forums.

If the format is invalid, I will let you know.

Bonus :

Along with your submissions, send in which four players you think will be the winners. A consensus wil be made and released in the June Exclusive.

Fun! Just to clarify, the beginning of each week (Wednesday and Thursday) is the "entry period," but the submissions we make are to include players for all 4 polls? What will the entry period for the following 3 weeks be for if we have already submitted our 4 player entry? We can just submit more players or something like that?

Yes, it should be fun!

Participants can submit entries either all at once or simply send in the player / position required for that given week. (All at once is preferred)

This method allows any late participants (for the later weeks) a chance to give in their entries.

Bottom line - Defensemen are only accepted in this week's contest and then opens up again for the Wild Card Round (Week Four).
