I agree on the Trappistes Rochefort #6. I've had quite a few Belgian style ales and I was expecting similar from this one. However, its got a lot more subtlety and finesse than the others. Almost all of the other Trappist beer I've had was all in your face, but the Trappistes Rochefort #6 was a polite whisper in comparison. Not overpowering, but still a brew of the highest order. Highly recommend.
