They really are team-minded, and really fracking fast. Wheeler, Little, even Stapleton, are really quick skaters. They embarassed the Capitals tonight.
4-on-4 (offsettings to Brouwer and I forget who), late in the game, the Jets just dominated. They're a fast, co-ordinated team.
These jokers might actually make the playoffs. I'll be there, amazed.

They are a solid and fun team to watch, and I really hope they make the playoffs, would be such a nice payback for loyal and devoted fans who have been hockey-starved for so many years.
The odds are probably against them, simply because they play so many of their remaining games (7 of 11) on the road, and we saw last week how they just didn't have it to win against Calgary and Vancouver on the road despite valiant efforts. They absolutely must beat the Canes at home tomorrow, and then oh what a difficult road trip, Capitals, Pens and Preds; that stretch will be so important, to come out with say 3 points minimum, because then they have 3 of their last 7 at home and the 4 road games are winnable (Lightning, Canes, Panthers, Isles).
Go Jets!
