There's a reason why I wanted to kick this thread off a bit early... I'm thrilled. Absolutely thrilled!!! Can't wait for season three!!!

Also, season two releases today on Blu-Ray and DVD. I will be picking it up this morning. With that being said, anyone else plan on doing a re-watch before season three? I'll probably start my re-watch early March. I've been craving the return of Game of Thrones for quite a while now.

In the so called "offseason", I picked up that Inside HBOs Game of Thrones Collectors Edition book that I mentioned was releasing in the thread from last year. It's fantastic. I haven't read much yet, but it is very in-depth and detailed. It gives detailed descriptions on characters and their history, gives detailed information on houses, leaders of houses, past and present kings, and a whole lot more. It's also a great collectable to own for any fan of this series. It comes with two maps and the storyboards from episodes 1-20. The maps actually helped me understand locations and cities much better.

Also in the offseason, I picked up the Xbox 360 video game. The game itself was pretty poor, but the story was awesome. I also finally picked up season one the collectors edition of it. It came with a cool little paperweight dragon egg.

I know, I'm a nerd when it comes to stuff like this.
