Purcell is a very good player, and Steen has been underrated for a good while, and is really looking good this season. I would try sending Purcell and Steen, if they don't bite, they don't bite, and it's no big deal. I would certainly not want to trade both Purcell and Getzlaf for either one of Kessel or Iginla though.
My thoughts exactly. 2-for-1s are always good because you free up a roster spot to add a waiver wire (or in the case Kesler who you want to activate ASAP now that he's back). If he doesn't know hockey maybe he'll bite at the deal, it never hurts to offer.
