It sure isn't Byfuglien and Pietrangelo because they are simply better, and while you could argue that Edler is better than Phaneuf, I doubt that to be the case in your league, but the real point for not making this trade is because of how D are value in your league, as it's a 10 team league with 3 D starts, meaning there are a wide variety of free D to be had that are of quality, while there isn't as much available in way of forwards. Iginla is not the worst forward on your team, so I wouldn't move him out for a lateral move on D.
