Right now Varly isnt a great play mainly due to injuries in Colorado among other things. O'Reilly signing would be a big help to the team but as long as hes unsigned and Landy is out (concussion?), I dont like Colorados chances of getting many wins.

As far as Backstrom is concerned, he is a nice short term option. Lets be honest, its only a matter of time before he ends up on the IR. Neuvirth is playing really well in Washington. I would certainly take a look at him as a wire possibility.
