He skated at UBC last Thursday but no word on the outcome (e.g. I feel ready to go) which tells me that it wasn't good news - at least not worthy of a Gillis comment (e.g. Ryan skated today and felt good. We should see him at practice in 1 week).

Apparently his recovery has been slow due to the wrist and shoulder injury being on the same side so he can't rehab as effectively.
