You will like ESPN for stat researching.
Their actual box score coverage & player profile pages are very nice, clean & easy to jump between teams/players.
The "Go To" function (from any player page) with the team & player list is the fastest jump-between on the internet. Every rostered team player listed with just a mouse-hover!!!

I've always been an ESPN-guy for my hockey stats.
(except that one needs to jump over to a player's Yahoo profile or NHL.com real-time stats for Hits/BlockedShots/Faceoffs... though ESPN should really list that stuff instead of PPG/PPA/SHG/SHA, just PPP,SHP,Hits,Blocks would be smarter.)
