According to beer advocate it might be called Red Betty in the states.

Red Racer... *drools*
I haven't found an IPA quite like it and they no longer import here. I've been shuffling through the Lagunitas Loop (Daytime, Maximus, Hop Stoopid) trying to find something to replace it but alas - no go. The Maximus is decent but honestly wasn't that impressed by the rest. Good sure, but nothing great.
I haven't found an IPA I
really enjoyed in a while and most of the ones I'd like to try I can't get here (Firestone, Pliny, Arrogant Bastard, etc.). I've contented myself with some other Canadian IPA's - Smashbomb IPA and Phillips Amnesiac are both decent.
Though I've been largely limiting the beer intake lately and am trying to polish off what I have laying around - haven't made a trip to the store in forever.
What I have sitting in the fridge right now (off the top of my head):
3x Westy
1x Beer Geek Breakfast
1x Vintage 1969 (or something like that... it's Unibroue)
3x Anchor Porter
1x Hobgoblin
1x Trois Pistoles
1x Maudite
1x of Rochefort 6,8,10
...or something like that.
Anyways, haven't been around the thread lately. Nice to read about beer again
