As I've iterated earlier in this post, on it's own, the entire Hobbit book is actually SHORTER than EACH of the other 3 LOTR books. Now imagine the original trilogy split into 9 movies... it would be boring as ****. That's essentially what they've done with the Hobbit.

I can't disagree with any of this. I gotta admit, though, there's a big part of me thy never wants this whole "event" to end!
