Well it looks like a landslide here but I think it's closer than the apparent "no brainer" decision. When the season finally begins Kronwall will assume the role for the Wings that he has been groomed for over the last several seasons. I've watched this guy since he played for the baby crowns and there is no signifcant weakness in his game. He came to the Wings with way above average offensive talent, paid his dues, improved in the D zone and learned his trade for years under the tutelage of one of the very best. Will it be tougher for Nik this year as one post suggests, yes, probably....IMO, he is ready. Buff is built for Fantasy Hockey. Again, IMO, there is little comparison in hockey skills between Kronwall and Buff, Kronwall is by far the more skilled Defender. Kronwall. Now he gets his chance, this will be closer than you think! My 2 Cents. Drop the Puck!
