And more than that too. Even though I haven't been back to the liquor store yet, when I go next I'll go armed with good recommendations from Bomm and Spitball on good Scotch Whiskeys. Still open to any recommendations on good Irish Whiskeys, heck even Canadian and American Whiskeys as well. Just like with the beer I try to steer away from the mass market spirits and go for the smaller batch/higher quality stuff.

This thread is worthy of the title of best ever non-hockey thread, and would have to be considered one of the best ever period.
