If Semin had have lit up the KHL like some of his NHL counterparts, rather than being a recent healthy scratch things may have been different. That, as well as saying he isn't sure about a return to the NHL, just gave me the feeling that he is more like the guy who has continued to frustrate and disappoint owners than someone who is going to return to an elite fwd.
Ennis seems like a better horse to bet on than Semin all things considered

Totally understand the thinking behind it, and it could defiantly prove to be a good trade for you, but as it stands now I don't like it very much.
I feel like you sold low on Semin, which to me is never a good thing in fantasy hockey, that being said you got a good assest, and who's to say Semin doesn't continue going downwards.
I think at the end of the day it comes down to Ennis being a much safer play; with Semin being the high risk, high reward type.
