I had already pulled it back, as he's asking for Toews or Kopitar now...now Lucic anymore...
I agree, sideways moves are tough...gaining very little.

BAsed on Pietrangelo's stats this past season:

If I dealt Toews, the replacement forward would be needing to make up 900 FOW, 16-ish PPP, 130-ish shots, plus a healthy +/-. and around 40 points.

Lucic, the replacement forward would need to make up tons of PIM (~130) and hits (~200), and about 32 points or so, plus a healthy +/-.

You're right, though, dmen are inconsistent. Although, what do you think of this, as another way to look at it?

Pietrangelo plus replacement forward (ie Stepan)
OR
Toews plus replacement dman (ie Faulk)
OR
Lucic plus replacement dman (ie Faulk)
