FARM - Lehner, Murphy, Pouliot

Roy's situation is interesting. You could easily dangle his production from 2 to 4 years ago in Buffalo and argue that perhaps he's playing with better line mates...get someone to bite before he actually DOES start to return to form.

Ennis is also an interesting asset. Gotta love what this guy can do and nearly a carbon copy of Roy. No gaurantees that he's on the 1st line which could hurt his value...but if he is up there playing with the likes of Vanek and Pommenville...Definitely a potential sell.

Hemsky...say what you will about his performance and healthy...but he's a great ADD in player, espcially if you're getting a RW eligible player back.

Markov would be a great sell. Everyone knows what he can do when he's healthy...but I'd sooner let someone else shoulder the risk. He's likely a 75 to 80% injury risk. Good luck getting 35 to 40 games out of him. Mortgage his past to gain on YOUR future.

Thomas...why not toss him in. His value...2013 olympics...maybe he wants to throw his name into the hat. If no one else is playing right now...who's to say that Thomas doesn't return to action when the NHL starts up again. (Again...unlikely...but like Markov...i'd sooner use him to better my team elsewhere than keep him ).

As for your youth...Lehner is an easy sell as is Murphy (GREAT offensive upside) and Pouliot...(Great situation..but more of a long term project).

Your target...

Someone said Earlier...CLOWE. I THINK HE'S PERFECT FOR YOUR TEAM (LW/RW)...espcially if you can get him without moving Ennis or Roy.

Some other's to consider...Kick the tires of the Voracek owner...all his value is hinged to playing on the #1 line...(go check out some of the depth charts out there...he's anywhere from 1st to 2nd to 3rd line...in favor of Simmonds in some cases). Now he likely WILL line up on the 1st line...but you could always use the uncertainty. Now he's RW...but a definite upgrade.

JVR may also be a decent option to dangle any one or package of the above players for. Listed as a LW now...he may also get C status if the Leafs manage to implement their "let's use JVR to fix all our problems" project.

Simmonds...again a RW...could cash in on his uncertainy (as to which line he'll play on...but what a multi cat beast he's turning out to be).

And keeping with my philly trend...I've heard rumblings that B.Schenn may also swing over to LW if Coutourier hammers down the 3rd line C job. Getting on his ground floor could pay dividents.

Just my thought process with what you have. Feel free to disregard.
Wow havanablast thanks for the in-depth analysis! Greatly appreciated.

I like your idea of targeting JVR. His owner in our league also owns Kevin Poulin so I'm thinking about offering Nilsson and maybe packaging him with another player. Someone like Hemsky perhaps? He also owns Nabokov so with Nilsson he would have all the Islanders goalies. It's gonna be tough to get JVR but it would be sweet if I could since he will likely be lining up with Kessel on the top line.

His goaltending is very weak (Pavelec, Nabby, Hedberg, Emery on pro roster with Poulin and Campbell on farm roster) so Nilsson would be a nice addition. Thoughts?
