I agree with you on your take of Rand. I think your right on point. But having read a lot of philosophy, the skill of the writers vary but what your trying to get out of the text is the content. I couldn't find myself reading the book if it was purely for entertainment or its prose as you point out.

So I think those that do, are looking at the content, and those who have read it for the prose, have poor taste in literature ha.
