Target a more proven guy that may have his value depressed a little, or an undervalued D who scores a few more goals.

Brent Burns, Jack Johnson (window on him may have passed, though), Nik Kronwell, Brent Seabrook, Sami Salo are all guys who scored 9+ goals last year.

If you can nab a 10 goal 20 assist guy...

(10x3) + (20*1) = 50pts

That has better fantasy value to you as Duncan Keith (4, 36) with 44 fantasy points. Exploit someone's lack of knowledge of your scoring system if you can.
