I spent about 8 weeks gluten free (among other things) while investigating some food sensitivities (cashews and their ilk make the skin on my hands and feet blister) and it does feel good. The bigger issue is that a lot of the quick and easy crap food has gluten so by cutting out gluten you get rid of much fast food and junk food. Ergo the benefits are not purely gluten related.

Never hurts to give it a try but the amount of gluten in a healthy home cooked diet isn't really that high anyway.
Surgeons are plumbers of the med world. And they're certainly not gastroenterologists. Oz's claims often fall into the quack category.

I would be highly suspect of anyone with a syndicated show giving me advice on anything medical, financial or otherwise.
