Thanks for these links. I hadn't seen them before.

This trade, or at least the discussions, was borne mostly out of boredom. It's a new league and we are all happy with our shiny new toys, but we can't play with them. KnowwhatImean? I recognize that defense isn't a weakness for my team, but I'm kind of itching to do something. Even if it's a lateral move. What I didn't expect was that everyone would assign so much value to Subban and deem this as being so lop-sided.

My teams biggest weakness at this point, I feel, is that I lack reliable depth at C. Compared to last years stats I fall behind in 3 main cats: FOW, Blocks and Hits. What I want to do is use some of my depth at other positions, like defense and especially in goal, to strengthen my C depth. With so many goalies I had hoped to sell a few of them to upgrade at C. The problem is that everyone seems happy with their goalie situations. Until the season starts and goalies start playing badly or get injured I probably just need to sit tight.

What are your opinions on that?
