I've been offered Goldy for my Josh Johnson. To give you an idea of how the points in this league work:

Points:

Josh Johnson
2012: 352pts (in a down year)
2011: 144pts (in an injury year)
2010: 460pts (finally some good numbers! 183IP)

Goldschmidt
2012: 439.50pts (512AB's)
2011: 125pts (156AB's)

I'm going to be in trouble with a starting 1B once Konerko decides he's too old to play. He still put up 418pts for me last year, best for 4th on my team.

I also have more than the allowable amount of SP's to start next year, so I gotta trim somewhere.

The original (verbal) offer was Lincecum for Goldy but he just asked for Johnson instead, said we can "widen the trade to balance it out" if I want. He doesn't have much else. I can ask for a pick though.

So what do you say? Is there value to be had here? Can Goldy consistently put up 439pts+? Do I aim for another 1B (they're very hard to get in this league)? Shoot for a good 1B prospect instead? Lincecum? AAAGGHH!
