It definitely doesn't have to be a big player, but rather a guy that provides the right stats. Darcy Tucker was tiny but had a season of 28 G, 33 A, 100 PIM and 127 hits. Unfortunately the same player would probably produce 20 goals and 45 points today.
Given how tough it is to meet the criteria and how long it takes for true power forwards to develop, I don't know if anyone can accurately identify the next guy. If you have waiver wire access it may be best to go fishing for slightly older players that are catching fire. For example, I think the likes of Welsh, Budish and Ferland (all recent acquisitions in UHL) have better odds than your typical 18 year old long-shot big man and you will wait less time for an answer.
