Gallardo was oh-so-solid.
Jim Johnson was good, but imploded very badly twice after you dealt him.
Pettitte was injured.
And even Greg Holland got some saves.
How are you doing in this league?
(Noticed you had A.Beltre, who has been ON FIRE, I own him in 2/4 leagues.)

Thanks for the refresh, I actually thought about giving an update.
Well, three months after the deal, which was amazing for me, I am still in fourth place, but too far away from the top three (which is a really close race). I take my position as a positive considering where I started (really poor pitching) and some injuries along the way (Tulo, Cuddyer, Walker).
That deal was tremendous for me, but in general my pitching has been a pleasant surprise. My starting pitching staff has hardly changed since this deal, only dropping Hudson. As solid as Gallardo has been, I think my pitching MVP for the year is Kyle Lohse. Aside from Ks, check out these numbers:
15-3, 2.71, 1.08
I can't believe I contemplated dropping him earlier in the year, but he really contributed to my success this season. Check out my starting pitching staff post-draft, which had to be autodrafted while the others were live:
D.Hudson, Cahill, Collmenter, Duffy
Overall it's been a good season. Unfortunately the other roto league (ahem) has not gone very well so I'm glad at least one of them has gone well. I love roto so would have been disappointed if I struggled in both.
My current roster:
C: J.Montero, 1B: Butler, 2B: Walker, SS: Aviles, 3B: Beltre, IF: Swisher, OF: Victorino, Pagan, Ludwick, UTIL: S.Perez, Saunders, BN: Tulo
SP: Gallardo, Cahill, Lohse, Liriano, Buehrle, SP/RP: Ogando, Rodgers, RP: Brothers, Doolittle, Holland, Cishek, Uehara
DL: Cuddyer, Capps
