I wouldn't say guarantee for top-six, but I'd say he will probably get a look.
The base salary may be 900k, but he's been signed to 2.85M in performance bonuses making his contract a 3.775M cap hit contract if I understand contracts correctly.
That being said, it's not like Calgary is struggling to reach the floor, in fact according to capgeek they're dealing with only around $3.5M in cap space now. So I would assume that they'd give Cervenka the opportunity to earn that $3.775M cap hit.
