    Ya I am in Halifax. That was the main reason I went Navy, my best chance to stay in NS. I am from the Annapolis Valley and wanted to stay close to home. I joined late (I was 35 when I joined) and just about to come up on my 8 yr anniversary since joining.

    Basic contract , I served 3yrs. , Lord Strathconas Horse(LDSH).
    That was 28yrs. ago!
