I would have no problem making that deal. Parise is a definite keeper for the future. Streit, not so much.

Hey man, I've loved your advice in the past and could really use some help on this one.

I'm in a league that keeps 7 guys. 5 vets and 2 guys under 200gp. My keepers right now are: Backstrom, Kovalchuk, Tavares, Kesler, Doughty, Rinne, Streit.
It will be a deep draft with players like backes, Roy, lecav, stastny, etc available. I have the 2nd, 5th and 6th overall picks (3 of the first 6 picks).

This guy offered Parise for my 5th and 6th overall picks and I would get an upgrade on my 2nd round pick from 10th pick of that round to the 4th pick. Adding Parise would mean dropping Streit.

Is picking up Parise worth losing out on 2 guys like Backes, Stastny, etc AND dropping Streit?

    Thanks!

No I wouldn't do Vinny for Giroux straight up. I would need a little extra coming back my way (upgrade another player or a pick). But, if Vinny cannot hit 75+ points this season then I really do think that Giroux will hold more value (in most leagues) going forward next season. Giroux could come within 5 points of Vinny this season IMO and that makes him pretty much worth more (especiailly if your league designates wingers). He is much younger and that will factor into his trade value. FYI, in my keeper league, I have offered my Vinny for Giroux straight up and the other owner turned it down so it's definitely not out of the question. I am a huge Giroux supporter but I also believe in Vinny too haha
