I probably have one more shot this week to add a decent player for the playoff run. Available are Williams, Saad, Seto, Stalberg, McArthur, Cammy, Brouwer, Silfverberg, Stepan, Callahan and Boyes, all of whom have had a hot 30 days.

On the drop-side, Benn, Gaborik and Max Pac have been cold. I could also ditch Schultz and go with 3 D's, which I have been doing all season. I also have Enstrom stashed on IR just in case I need a D, assuming he comes back soon. Or drop Fasth to create another spot for a skater. With Price and Rinne on my team, that might be reasonable. Although last week I started a petition to have Rinne deported.

The only drop/add option I would consider from that list would be dropping Gaborik for Lupul. Gabby is in Torts dog house and doesn't seem mentally strong enough to get himself out. I could def see Lupul out-pointing him the rest of the season, especially if Lupul and Kessel are reunited on the top line.

As for replacing Fasth with Allen, I say do it. Fasth's injury, coupled with Hiller's improved play, has boosted Hiller back to the undisputed starter. That could change if Fasth gets hot and Hiller goes cold again, but that's the chance you take. On the flip side, right now Allen is getting the games in STL and that will only change when he starts to struggle. Eventually Halak will be the starter again, but when is up to Allen. Might as well ride the hot hand rather than hope Fasth makes a comeback.
