Haven't seen Clowe that upset before. At least he owned Kassian and won PIMs for teams across the fantasy world.

update, if you can call it that, on Burns:

#SJSharks Burns doesn't seem close to ready for prime time. Asked if he was encouraged by progress, his response: "I wouldn't use that word"

I have a question. Would sharks earn respect if they were to win the cup this season?

So what the hell happened this team? The came out guns ablazing and looked like they finally figured it out after what, 7 or 8 years?

They have lost 4 in a row where Thornton and Marleau were held scoreless and they are getting wooped tonight in of all places Columbus 6-1. Wow.

I wonder if CLB has had 6 goals in a game ever. Well looks like the Sharks continue to help other teams look good.
I thought Columbus would be a good starting point for them to get back on track. Well there's always tomorrow against... Nashville... well there's always Friday against... Chicago... nevermind.

I haven't been able to watch that many games, but from what I'm seeing and reading, the top guys are no longer producing. In the last 7 games or so, guys like Thornton only have a pair of points or so. It's like they blew their wad early. McLellan is too good of a coach to let this continue. Perhaps this team should make some kind of trade to shake things up for the better.

I'm getting worried about this club and to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if DW makes a trade before the deadline. Clowe still doesn't have a single goal in the season, which is pathetic for him and only 6 assists. His contract is up this year, and to be honest, I don't want him to go. He's one of the few grit/skill guys out there that's solid and one of the few on the Sharks. Perhaps they'll get him to sign at a small discount due to injuries and a bad year.

I don't have cable this year so I'm not seeing many games, but from what I am watching, they are fine on the PP, but aren't producing at ES. Guys like Couture aren't doing much and I think it's a lack of the right attitude in the locker room. I'm still not sure who the blame goes to. I still think McLellan is a very smart coach and I wouldn't want to see im leave. I think it's the wrong mesh of players here. I wish this team would get some more bruisers and guys who play their hearts on their sleeves each night in how they lead. I hate to say it, but this team is just too California chill to win anything big right now.

We'd be in so much more trouble if our PK hadn't improved so vastly this year (4th best in NHL this year).

Team just seems to have no...direction. I've felt this way for a few years, but I really wouldn't mind if they "blew" this team up a little. Not full sale slash and burn, but move a guy like Thornton and Boyle (Much as I love him) to a team who can afford them and is contending, get some actual talented youth. Especially up forward. I think you can really see how much all these trades for playoff runs are hurting us now. Most of our youth are 3rd-5th round picks and while good enough, are basically depth guys.

Ehh I dunno. Just extremely frustrated with my team constantly under performing

I wrote something on this awhile ago.

I'd trade Boyle in a heartbeat even though I think he's the biggest heart and soul player they have right now. But he's getting old and they need some high end prospects.

Trade Marleau to a team where he can slot in with a stud center and continue to perform. Doesn't Pittsburgh have room here? Get a package of Simon Despres, Bennet, and maybe a 1st? Not sure how high people see those guys at this point.

Thornton to the Rangers. ha ha ha ha. People kept saying we were gonna get Nash, so give them Thornton. I don't think they have the stuff to send after the Nash deal or the cap space.

Edmonton need vets. Offload them there for some of their pretties

But yeah, I'd totally get behind a Marleau to Pens trade. Would actually be pretty good for both sides I reckon
