I see Hubredeau and Gachelyuk as captains of their respective teams in the future. Not that that has any bearing on their fantasy value, more their importance to their teams.
I own Granlund. If he ends up with W status before I have to activate him, I wouldn't trade him for any of these other guys.

Can someone enlighten me as to why you think Tarasenko will be the one guy to bust out on St Louis? Talk about offence by committee and a deep top 9. Just based on opportunity and situation alone, I can't see him being a better option than Hubs or Grandlund anytime soon. But, I'd love to hear opinions. Cheers.

Quote:
Tarasenko is that guy... His is only 21 and is not yet fully mature but his body is NHL ready, and compared to the other kids STL has brought in, Tarasenko has been playing amoungst men since he was 16-17 and has was noteable and became a Point Per Game player in a low scoring lg at the age of 19-20... He is likely not going to lead the team this shortened season, moreless getting used to North America and getting use to the surroundings, but the accention will be quick that he will become the top weapon on this team. He is the best pure RW (Oshie is an all around natural center, Chris Stewart is more a gritty guy that has hands)... Also with the Blues growing rate and more talent developing togather, they have a high ceiling, and Tarasenko leads that... I had him ranked lower on my list due to it taking a year or 2 for him to get up to to similer totals of Hubs and Granlund, but I can see why others ranking him higher... and excluding this season, I wouldn't not be surprised if of the guys listed, he has the most NHL points overall after 5 years and maybe over a full career... My ceilings thoughts: Hubs - 90-95 Granlund - 80-90 Tarasenko - 80-100 Baertchi - 70-90 Grigs - 60-80 Strome - 60-90 Schultz - 40-60

Baertschi, Granlund, Schultz will all be up this year. I suspect Charlie Coyle won't be far behind, and probably Huberdeau. As such, I would go:
Granlund Baertschi Schultz Hubs Tarasenko Strome Galy Griggs |

i had the 2nd overall pick this yr too and i would've taken Huberdeau if he hadnt been taken already. i took Granlund and i'm very pleased with that.
