But in all seriousness for as many heated exchanges TM has sparked he's still super entertaining and he sticks to his guns, right or wrong. Gotta respect that.

Although, with 1000 posts you can't help but wonder if Tequilamonster is now overrated.

I wonder if after 1,000 posts if he'll jump the shark and become all....normal.....nah can't see that ever happening.

I have to admit when I first started hanging out on here, TM's posts and style used to grate on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard. But along the way the Monster has grown on me. I do find his posts occasionally informative, but even when they aren't, the ensuing exchanges are never ever dull. If you can't enlighten me at least entertain me, and you do that quite well my friend.

I was taken by the fact that he's stuck around for 5+ yrs, despite the multiple banishments, loss of rep, and vitriol hurled (to-and-fro). See I always viewed his posts as tongue-in-cheek, wry humor.

In fact, Poe's Law always sprang to my mind, after reading his input.

In short
Now perhaps I am giving more credit than he deserves, but at the very least I liken him to the crotchety old man on his porch barking at the kids cutting across his lawn - the neighborhood wouldn't be the same w/out him.

The reflection in this thread bears a more than passing resemblence to the old funhouse mirrors.

Note: young people, a fun house was full of mirrors that distorted your image - taller, shorter, hour-glass, huge head, etc... your iPhone has an app just like it I don't doubt.
