Default { Retirement } Ray Lewis

Wow, I am not surprised but certainly saddened by this news. I am not a Ravens fan, but you sure have to respect what Ray Lewis meant to the NFL and the Ravens.

Sad but it's definitely time. My favourite player ever! It's been really hard watching the Ravens without him this year. Hoping for one last Super Bowl run to send him off to the Hall of Fame and his future career as the best motivational speaker of all time. I don't think I'm going to enjoy the NFL quite as much with him out of the league.

I've never seen an athlete as motivated to play his sport as Ray Lewis.
The guy defines enthusiasm for his sport.

G.O.A.T.

I'm a football fan because of him. Absolutely great to watch on the football field even though he slowed down a bit in the recent years.

Now, I will have to buy myself a Patrick Willis jersey.

Agree. He would work out so hard and so long that he would have to crawl out of the gym afterwards and it was painful just to lay in bed. There will never be another Ray Lewis, although shout out to Ray Lewis III (his son) who is committed to play at Miami next year.

Wow. He's at that age and had had an awesome career. I never thought I'd see another LB who could rival LT in a debate as which LB changed the way the game was played and arguably the best ever. And this is coming from a Steelers' fan.
