Did anyone look at my super long post? Yes it's a pain to read, but all the ads had very similar posts.

It is easy to act remorseful when confronted with evidence against you.

The very first thread by A Watch on Dec 3.

User BMchl91 advertising 2 different baseball leagues on Dec.1 and Dec.3. Two days later on Dec 5 (same day as this thread) he can no longer run the league because of "time constraints"

I appreciate everyone has sympathy for this awful situation, but he was listing ads 2 freaking days ago. I like fantasy sports, but I cannot be in 10+ leagues at the same time, let alone commish all of them.

I will now go on sabbatical from posting on this forum until the lockout is over.

Went over your post, responded to your concerns. Glad you did all that digging. As you can see, nothing terrible went on that can't be fixed. Also, a big difference between advertising and successfully launching. If one league fails to get off the ground and you want to advertise another one a month later, you are free to without having the first one count against you.

Hopefully, your concerns are put to rest and you can let your suspicions go. Let's move forward.

I know nothing about this situation, but kudos to the Dobber community for the replies and concern in this thread. Impressive stuff. Dobber, you should be really, really proud of what you've created here, not just from a business perspective. I pledge to remember threads like this one the next time I get frustrated and threaten never to post again.

Having said that, if the NHL isn't playing hockey in a month, I'm done with those idiots and therefore won't be back on this site. I guess, at that point, it's time to move on to dobberbaseball.

yes all that "digging" took a few mins of googling 2 email addresses (OldSkool and Shakedown) which led to all the other forum posts. The copy and pasting and trying to remove empty lines in the posts on iPad was what took effort.

yes you addressed all concerns with different IP addresses.

glad it's all just a unlucky coincidence. I was confused by all the usernames with similar posts and making two usernames on the same forum.

League Payout Breakdown

League Champion = $350
Eastern Conference Champion = $125

I apologize to OldSkool, Shakedown, and BMchl91.

Glad to see the post and that it is out in the open, I am sorry all this crap had to come out on the boards. I apologize if any of my posts offended you.

In hindsight an email explaining your issues earlier in the year would have prevented this unnecessary mudslinging. We could have initiated a fund raising campaign to help out with some of your expenses. But its not to late!

Dobber - we could do a world junior box pool with all proceeds going to Brandon's medical expenses. If you deem it appropriate.

I think this whole unfortunate situation shows the need and power of communication and honesty.

Brandon's a good guy who got a crap hand dealt to him and reacted to it in the wrong way which snowballed out of control. The part that makes me sad is I think that if we knew what was going on the Dobber community really would have supported him and helped him.

Hindsight is 20/20 though. Thank you Dobber for stickhandling this mess to a conclusion, perhaps when we give this some time and all the issues are addressed we can still come together as a community to help out Brandon in any way we can. Brandon I hope everything turns out well for you.

I second this idea. Despite the recent events in question, given that an actual issue exists here I would be more than willing to take part in a fundraiser of this type, especially if the guy and his family are in need. Given the time of year I think we could get something put together relatively quick.

Dobber, can you make this happen?

Just want to congratulate Dobber for stepping forward to check in on Shakedown and his situation which just goes to show that this community and web site are much more than a commercial enterprise to him.

Great job Dobber. Apart from all the great advice etc. that is given here, it is Dobber the man who keeps me coming back because though I have never met him, I have a lot of resoect for him and how he carries himself.

Although I don't know what you are going through, goodluck and get well Shakedown.

I am very sorry for your unfortunate situation and during the holidays, it seems like it is 1000 times worse. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers Brandon.

As usual it's nothing but smoothmoves here in "dobberland"!
Good job manning up Shakes!
As has been said , we all make mistakes , it's learning from our mistakes
that is most important , in hopes that we don't make the same mistakes again.
I hope that life gets "better" for you , remember , actions speak louder than words.
I think I can speak for the majority here and welcome you back to this "community"
at your discretion.
