IMO the prince trade would be better. If he wants 2 pretty good arms for goldy you're better off to give up JJ, and cj, choo to get prince and reddick and the pick. Cj isn't getting any younger and although I'm a huge jays fan and I'm hoping JJ will rack up the wins but realistically he's probably going to be the number 3 or 4 starter there. Prince is the best bet at 1 bag IMO because he's a tank and never gets hurt. And josh will give you a lot of offense to. Bundy will make the show so you've can afford to deal a few vets for a few studs.

Then I'd shop konerko for a decent sp then grab goldy if you can and that will be a rediculous offense you've built! Or even Pablo could be shopped because profar should make the big club to.

Not sure who the 1st pick could turn into. It depends on how many guys he keeps and who's dropped of course. Could be someone good though. Last year a bunch of awesome guys were snatched up. Anderson, Dunn, Lorenzo Cain, etc. One of the managers had to drop Profar and I got him with the 25th re-draft pick!

I still think you win this deal, you're getting a top ten hitter, another top 100 plus the 1st pick for a couple of aging guys, an inconsistent ace who will probably get the 3rd spot in the rotation and choo who is good but not great. Is he set on those pitchers or could to try swapping someone for JJ to keep that goldy swap alive? Like Garcia?

The Goldy swap won't happen if this one does.

its all good bud im really starting to get into researching more and looking all over the place for player values and this is my go to place. if i can lend an opinion i feel ive ask for enough myself that ill start givin some.i think its an overpay but a necessary one you are getting one of the best bats in the game and as much as i hope JJ will be amazing in TO his past isnt in his favour.
