I keep hoping this team returns to their dominance from a few years ago. I like that they brought in Oates, but as some have already said, give it time. I do feel like McPhee has constantly shaken things up before things have had a solid chance of gelling.

To those saying Ovi won't change how he plays clearly haven't watched him over the last few years as a whole. His game has gone from shooting a crapload to taking on more of a defensive role during event strength than it used to have. I do think he's lost some of his creativity or he just ran out of moves.

Why people are holding on to Green is beyond me! I am a huge Caps fan, and I usually try to build my fantasy teams around the Caps, or at least have a few of them in each league. I have Backstrom in one league and no Caps in the other. Green could be a fantasy leader, but he hasn't been in over a year. What is the obsession with keeping him when you could have a 2nd or 3rd line D that gets you more points? What is the difference this season between Green and Subban? Not much! Lot of potential with a lot of hope behind it.

I'll comment on tonight's Caps game tomorrow once I let it soak in a little more.
