Back to beer then....Just bought the new Howe Sound Super Jupiter Grapefruit IPA.....delish. Rather than just having the hops supply the citrus punch, they actually use real grapefruit and dried rind in the mash.....it's pretty swesome. So new, I can't even find a review on Beer Advocate yet.

Yeah no doubt. Buddy of mine moved to Long Island years back, got his foot in the door at winery. Now he's running vineyard.

If you're young, not married, no kids, and it's something that really interests you...do it.

Headin' home in the middle of storm. Gonna change into my carhartt gear, pull two bottles of three phils from the fridge, plug 'em into a snow bank and get to some shoveling. Actually, snow blowing....I need to fashion a beer holder onto that thing.

Bomm getting all 007-ish, shaken not stirred, but somehow not. Can't see Bond slumming it with a snow blower. Maybe another kind of blower, but not snow.....

I can think of one 'snow' that is a blower... I'm not saying how I've heard of these things.

Not sure how I can respond to that in a way that won't lead to me having to send myself a PM to watch it. That's one of the weird possibilities about being a mod, if I step over the line, do I send myself a PM, or wait for another mod to send one? And if I do have send myself a PM to behave, should I respond back saying sorry? Does it make me crazy if I do? It's all too zen to contemplate so I'll have another beer...

Speaking of which, I'm finishing off a bottle of Nefarious Ten Pin from Ska Brewing. Pretty good, not the greatest porter I've ever had, but good all the same. A bit more boozy than the typical porter, but this is an imperial porter so it's to be expected.

Next up some Art of Darkness from Ommegang, probably some Velvet Rooster from Tallgrass, and most certainly a wee dram of Redbreast Irish Whiskey. Hopefully I will be able to raise the whiskey in toast of a Stars upset victory.

Whatcha y'all drinkin' tonight?
