Now that sounds like a deal I can handle. On a somewhat related note, I always get a laugh out of people's reactions when you tell them there's such a thing as breakfast beers. Most people just look at you like your a raging alky.

I think $10 is a reasonable price. That's what they cost down here.

AND... I should say that is a very fine beer. I can't see you being disappointed with spending a tenner on it.

I also had one last night for the first time. It was good. However, after all the hype and things you read about it, I was a little disappointed. A good beer, no doubt, but i'm not sure its worthy of all the hullabaloo.

Maybe I would have liked it more if I had never heard of it before. I think I liked the Ballast Point Big Eye IPA better.

Not familiar with that one, but that Great Divide Espresso Yeti would go well with a desert and it would probably apply to that one also. I think it's a trait inherent with breakfast beers, they might not go well with a surf and turf meal, but they work well with sweets as well as breakfast.

All of a sudden I remembered those other beers I couldn't think of yesterday. Firestone Double Jack and Walker's Reserve. I've got to take a trip over to KC one of these weekends and see this Gomer's place that my sister and her boyfriend stumbled on.

Her description was the beer selection is "Gi-Hu-Normous". Might be worth the gas money to go check it out. Kinda sucks though since my Camaro doesn't exactly sip gas, ok it gulps it in huge quantities, and well it doesn't have space to haul much. It can make a beer run very quick though.

It's pretty possible that Racer 5 may not have been fresh? I've had a few in my day that were a bit off. Even though they're not over aggressively hopped, something goes wrong in that beer if they're not fresh. Maybe give it another try if you can.

I'm all over it then. I'll pick up a bottle on my way back from coaching today. Thanks!

That's not the Beer Geek Breakfast (Weasel) is it? I've been curious about that one for a while. Not many people can say thay've had an Imperial Stout that's made from coffee beans secreted out of the anus of a weasel. You can't make that stuff up. I'd love to hear if anyone's actually tried it for reals.....

Mmmmmmm....weasel poo
